Dexter Morgan is back but this time, he’s younger than ever. Our mission was clear, bring back the Dexterverse without Michale C. Hall as the main driver.

Firstly, a title. Come up with something that speaks to his “First Killings” - proudly, I came up with “Original Sin” based on the 2000’s Antonio Banderas/Angelina Jolie movie (True Story).

Secondly, our campaign. Create a 360 marketing campaign that leans on the Dexter IP and the characters fans know and love and our results were outstanding.

The debut episode racked up 2.1 million global cross‑platform viewers in its first three days, making Original Sin Showtime’s most‑streamed premiere ever.

It also set a social media engagement record for Showtime with 657,000 interactions around its premiere.

Original Sin became Showtime’s most‑streamed original series in 10 years.

Despite being a prequel to an older franchise, it re‑ignited interest in Dexter, tapping into nostalgia while drawing in new viewers
